1/2 Hizb 46

(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We bestowed upon him new offspring, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder unto all who are endowed with insight. 43 We told him, "Take a handful of straw. Strike your wife with it to fulfill your oath." We found him to be patient. What an excellent servant he was. He was certainly most repenting. 44 And remember Our servants -- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- they were endowed with great strength and vision. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 And in Our sight, they are indeed the chosen ones, the beloved. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 this is Our unending provision' 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 This, [then, for them] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness 57 And other (punishment) of the same kind-- of various sorts. 58 This is a crowd rushing in along with you; no welcome for them; verily they are to roast in the Fire. 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or is it that [they are here, and] our eyes have missed them?" 63 All this is certainly true -- the inhabitants of the Fire will blame one another in this way. 64

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
