Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 On a straight path. 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
