Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 who at first gave a little, then later held back? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
