The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
