▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
