The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
