Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
