1/2 Hizb 46
< random >
And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 We said to him, “Strike the earth with your foot; this cool spring is for bathing and drinking.” (A spring gushed forth when he struck the earth this was a miracle.) 42 And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand. 43 And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with It and do not break your oath; surely We found him patient; most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah). 44 AND CALL to mind Our servants Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, [all of them] endowed with inner strength and vision: 45 Surely We purified them by a pure quality, the keeping in mind of the (final) abode. 46 Indeed with Us they are among the chosen, the excellent. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 #NAME? 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 This is what they had been promised for the Day of Judgment. 53 Our provision for you will never be exhausted. 54 This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - 55 Hell, in which they will burn. How vile a resting place! 56 All this (is for them); so let them taste boiling water and pus, 57 And other (torment) of the kind in pairs (the two extremes)! 58 “Here is another group that was with you, falling along with you”; they will answer, “Do not give them plenty of open space; they surely have to enter the fire let them also be confined!” 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say: "Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, add to him a double torment in the Fire!" 61 And they will say: "What is the matter with us that we see not men whom we used to count among the bad ones?" 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Verily, that is the very truth, the mutual dispute of the people of the Fire! 64
