The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
