Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);- 1 And what will make you know what the comer by night is? 2 It is the piercing star. 3 There is no soul but has a protector over it. 4 Let the human reflect of what he is created. 5 He is created from a water gushing forth. 6 Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs: 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare, 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 I swear by the raingiving heavens, 11 and the replenishing earth, 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 And I (too) am planning a plan. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while. 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
