(Remember) the day when We will call every people with their Imam; then whoever is given his book in his right hand, these shall read their book; and they shall not be dealt with a whit unjustly. 71 But he who is blind in this life, shall be blind in the Everlasting Life and will be further astray from the Path. 72 And verily they had well-nigh tempted thee away from that which We have revealed unto thee, that thou shouldst fabricate regarding something else; and then surely they would have taken thee as a friend! 73 If We had not made you stand firm, you would almost have inclined towards them a little. 74 then would We have let thee taste the double of life and the double of death; and then thou wouldst have found none to help thee against Us. 75 They very nearly provoked you to drive you out of the land, but they would have only lingered for a little while after you. 76 The tradition of the Noble Messengers We sent before you – and you will not find Our rules changing. 77
