We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth have We spread out wide - and how well have We ordered it! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
