The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
