And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away from them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)! 84 We have not created but with reason the heavens and the earth and all that lies within them. The Hour (of the great change) is certain to come. So turn away (from them) with a grace. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator of all things, the Knowing. 86 And assuredly We have vouchsafed unto thee seven of the repetitions and the mighty Qur'an. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 and say, 'Surely, I am the manifest warner.' 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 (So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please). 91 By your Lord, We will question them all 92 for whatever they have done! 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 and believe other things to be equal to God. They will soon know the truth. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 And serve thy Lord till the Inevitable cometh unto thee. 99
