Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
True are the words of God the Almighty.
