Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Not at all but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 watching over you 11 who know what you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what do you know of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
