Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
