The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
