Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 from which you turn away. 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 He said: Lo! thou art of those reprieved 80 Till the appointed day." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
