In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 For the living and the dead, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 So like golden camels." 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 And such fruits as they desire. 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 "Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame." 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
