O you who believe, seek courage in fortitude and prayer, for God is with those who are patient and persevere. 153 And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not. 154 And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient, 155 Who say when assailed by adversity: "Surely we are for God, and to Him we shall return." 156 Their Lord will bestow great blessings and mercy upon them; such are the people who are rightly guided. 157 ۞ Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing. 158 Lo! Those who hide the proofs and the guidance which We revealed, after We had made it clear to mankind in the Scripture: such are accursed of Allah and accursed of those who have the power to curse. 159 Except those who repent and do reform and disclose (the truth) – so I will accept their repentance; and I only am the Most Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful. 160 Indeed upon those who disbelieved, and died as disbelievers, is the curse of Allah and of the angels and of men combined. 161 They ever dwell therein. The doom will not be lightened for them, neither will they be reprieved. 162 Your Deity is Allah alone: there is no deity save the All-Beneficent and All-Merciful Allah. 163
