Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
