And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
