Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 who show off, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
