Surely We brought man into being out of dry ringing clay which was wrought from black mud, 26 and the jinn We had created before from flaming fire. 27 And recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a man from ringing clay of loam moulded. 28 When I have formed him and breathed My spirit into him, fall down in prostration before him," 29 So, the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together. 30 But Iblis (did it not); he refused to be with those who made obeisance. 31 God asked Iblis, "What made you not join the others in prostration?" 32 He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud." 33 (Allah) said: "Then, get out from here, for verily, you are Rajim (an outcast or a cursed one)." [Tafsir At-Tabari] 34 Condemned till the day of Doom!" 35 Iblis prayed, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Judgment". 36 He said: Then lo! thou art of those reprieved 37 Until the Day of the time well-known." 38 Iblis said, "Lord, because you have caused me to go astray, I shall make earthly things attractive to (people) and mislead all of them 39 "Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 40 (Allah) said: "This is the Way which will lead straight to Me." 41 and you have no authority over My servants except the erring ones who follow you. 42 For whom the ordained place is surely Hell, 43 It hath seven gates, and each gate hath an appointed portion. 44

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
