Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 Indeed, We are able to show you that which We promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah of which he does not have any proof his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
