The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 covered down upon them, 8 in endless columns! 9
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
