We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
