The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O thou enveloped in thy cloak, 1 Arise and warn! 2 And your Lord (Allah) magnify! 3 And your garments purify! 4 And all abomination shun! 5 And do not favour others in order to receive more. 6 and for the sake of your Lord, be patient. 7 When the Horn is blown, 8 It will be a day of distress, 9 for the unbelievers not easy. 10 Leave Me with him whom I created alone, 11 And then granted him resources in abundance. 12 And sons dwelling in his presence, 13 To whom I made (life) smooth and comfortable! 14 and yet, he greedily desires that I give him even more! 15 By no means; he is stubbornly opposed to Our Signs. 16 We shall make him suffer the torment of hell without relief. 17 Surely he reflected and guessed, 18 (Self-)destroyed is he, how he planned! 19 Then may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. 20 He looked (at others); 21 Then he frowned and scowled, 22 Then turned his back and waxed proud, 23 And said, "This is not but magic imitated [from others]. 24 This is nothing but the word of mortal man!" 25 I shall surely roast him in Sakar; 26 And what will explain to thee what Hell-Fire is? 27 It spares nothing; it leaves nothing intact; 28 It scorches people's skin 29 Over it are nineteen [powers]. 30 And We have not made the wardens of the fire others than angels, and We have not made their number but as a trial for those who disbelieve, that those who have been given the book may be certain and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who have been given the book and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the unbelievers may say: What does Allah mean by this parable? Thus does Allah make err whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases, and none knows the hosts of your Lord but He Himself; and this is naught but a reminder to the mortals. 31

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
