Surely the people of al-Hijr also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 And what they earned did not avail them. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Indeed your Lord only is the Great Creator, the All Knowing. 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 and also divided the Quran believing in some parts and rejecting others. 91 By the Lord, We will hold them all responsible 92 For all that they used to do. 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 Those who set up another god with Allah; so they shall soon know. 96 Indeed, We know your chest is straitened by that they say. 97 Proclaim thy Lord's praise, and be of those that bow, 98 And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. 99
