Messengers! Eat of that which is good and do good deeds; I have knowledge of the things you do. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 But their nations broke their tasks into pieces; every group happy with what it has. 53 So leave them in their intoxication till a time. 54 Do they fancy that Our continuing to give them wealth and children (means) that 55 We hasten in good works for them? No, they are not aware. 56 Those who tremble with fear of their Lord; 57 and who believe in their Sustainer's messages, 58 And those who do not ascribe any partner to their Lord 59 And those who give what they give and their hearts fear for they have to return to their Lord. 60 to God, these are the ones who really compete with each other in virtuous deeds and are the foremost ones in the task. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 Yet their hearts are oblivious of this; and besides, they are busy with other things, 63 Till when We grasp their luxurious ones with the punishment, behold! they supplicate. 64 Supplicate not this day! Assuredly ye will not be helped by Us. 65 My revelations were recited unto you, but ye used to turn back on your heels, 66 behaving arrogantly, and making fun, and talking nonsense (about the Book in your nightly chats)." 67 Have they not pondered over the word of God? Has something come to them that did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it that they did not recognise their Noble Messenger, therefore they consider him alien? 69 Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Or, is it that thou askest of them any maintenance? The maintenance of thy Lord is better, and He is the Best of providers. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 But those who do not believe in the Hereafter have indeed deviated from that path. 74 ۞ Even if We were to grant them mercy and rescue them from hardship, they would still blindly persist in their rebellion. 75 We inflicted Punishment on them, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor do they submissively entreat (Him)!- 76 Until when We shall open upon them a portal of severe torment, and lo! thereat they are desparing. 77

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
