O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief. 53 So leave them in their error till a time. 54 Do they think that by all the wealth and offspring with which We provide them 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Surely those who live in awe of their Lord, 57 And those who believe in the communications of their Lord, 58 who associate none with their Lord in His Divinity, 59 And those who give that which they give with hearts afraid because they are about to return unto their Lord, 60 Are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others. 61 We do not impose on any soul what is beyond its capacity. We have the Book which speaks the truth and no injustice will be done to it. 62 Nay, but their hearts are covered (blind) from understanding this (the Quran), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing. 63 But then when We seize the affluent among them, they will cry out for help. 64 [But they will be told] "Cry not in supplication today; for, behold, you shall not be succoured by Us! 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Pondered they not over the Word? or came there unto them that which came not unto their fathers ancient? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the Truth and it is the Truth that most of them disdain. 70 If truth had followed their whims and desires, heavens and earth and all that lives in them would have been brought to ruin. Rather We have brought them their Reminder. Yet they keep avoiding their Reminder. 71 Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 And lo! thou summonest them indeed unto a straight path. 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus] 76 Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. 77
