3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response: 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 And made his seed the survivors, 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the other (disbelievers and polytheists, etc.). 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 Behold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart. 84 and [thus] spoke to his father and his people: "What is it that you worship? 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 All the people turned away from him 90 He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?” 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 (Abraham) said, "I will go to my Lord who will guide me". 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy, possessing forbearance. 101 And when he reached the age of traveling with him, he said: 'My son, while I was sleeping I saw that I shall slaughter (sacrifice) you, tell me what is your opinion' He replied: 'Father, do as you are ordered (by Allah). Allah willing, you shall find me one of those who are steadfast' 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 You have indeed shown the truth of the vision; surely thus do We reward the doers of good: 105 Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 108 Peace be on Abraham. 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 for he was truly one of our believing servants. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113
