Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 storming tempestuously 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 excusing or warning, 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 for an appointed time? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 The living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
