Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
