VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 They will be told: "Enter it in peace and security." 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 There, no fatigue shall smite them, nor shall they ever be driven from it' 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 He said: What is your business then, O apostles? 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
