And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah]. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
