▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 With spreading branches; 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 In which, will be two fountains running. 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 [There will be] maidens as fair as corals and rubies. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 In them will be two gushing springs. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 In them are good and beautiful women - 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets. 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
