a large group of the earlier people 39 and a large group of those of later times. 40 And those on the Left Hand Who will be those on the Left Hand? 41 (they shall live) amid burning winds and boiling water, 42 and under the shadow of black smoke, 43 neither cold nor graceful in shape. 44 For, behold, in times gone by they were wont to abandon themselves wholly to the pursuit of pleasures, 45 and persisted in the Great Sin, 46 and constantly said: 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be restored to life? 47 and perhaps, too, our forebears of old?" 48 Say: 'Those of ancient times and those of later times 49 Are going to be assembled on the appointed time of a Day Known. 50 Then you people who had gone astray and rejected the Truth 51 you shall eat (the fruit) of the Tree of Zakkum. 52 Fill your bellies with it, 53 Then drink over it of boiling water; 54 Lapping it up like female camels raging of thirst with disease." 55 This shall be their entertainment on the Day of Requital. 56 We have created you: why then do you not accept the truth? 57 Have you thought about [the semen] that you discharge -- 58 Do ye create it or are We the Creator? 59 We mete out death among you, and We are not to be outrun, 60 that We will change you and cause you to grow again in a way you do not know. 61 You have certainly known the first creation. Why, then, do you not take heed? 62 Have you considered the seeds you till? 63 Is it you who cause it to grow - or are We the cause of its growth? 64 Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry powder, and ye would be left in wonderment, 65 Surely we are burdened with debt: 66 nay; we have been undone!” 67 Have you ever considered the water which you drink? 68 Do ye bring it down (in rain) from the cloud or do We? 69 If We will, We would make it bitter, why then do you not give thanks? 70 So what is your opinion regarding the fire which you kindle? 71 Did you make its timber to grow, or did We make it? 72 It is We who have made it a means to remind [you of Us,] and a comfort for all who are lost and hungry in the wilderness [of their lives]. 73 Then celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme! 74

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
