The tree of Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 like water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
