Al-Najm 3 of 3
Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
