I swear by all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta. 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
