The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
