The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
