Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
