If they belie you, say: 'I have my work, you have your work. You are quit of what I do, and I am quit of what you do' 41 And of them are some who listen unto thee. But canst thou make the deaf to hear even though they apprehend not? 42 And of them is he who looketh toward thee. But canst thou guide the blind even though they see not? 43 Surely God wrongs not men anything, but themselves men wrong. 44 And on the Day when He shall gather (resurrect) them together, (it will be) as if they had not stayed (in the life of this world and graves, etc.) but an hour of a day. They will recognise each other. Ruined indeed will be those who denied the meeting with Allah, and were not guided. 45 And if We show you something of what We threaten them with, or cause you to die, yet to Us is their return, and Allah is the bearer of witness to what they do. 46 A Messenger is appointed for all people. When the Messenger for them came he judged among them fairly and they were not wronged. 47 And they say: "When will be this promise (the torment or the Day of Resurrection), - if you speak the truth?" 48 Say, "I possess not for myself any harm or benefit except what Allah should will. For every nation is a [specified] term. When their time has come, then they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]." 49 Say thou: bethink ye, if His torment come on you by night or by day which portion thereof would the culprits hasten on? 50 And when it overtakes you, is it then that you will believe in it, now, when you already try to hasten it! 51 The unjust will be told, "Suffer the everlasting torment. Do you expect a recompense other than what you deserve? 52 They seek to be informed by thee: "Is that true?" Say: "Aye! by my Lord! it is the very truth! and ye cannot frustrate it!" 53
