The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 facing one another. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And [with them will be their] companions pure, most beautiful of eye, 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 The reward for what they did. 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 and banana trees, 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit abundant. 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 And raised couches; 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age, 37 For the sake of the companions of the right hand. 38

There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
