Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
