The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In outstretched columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
