And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
